3rd Batch Internship Call at the Sustainability Lab at SRIc
🌍 About this internship program
Research Fellowship at the Shwetaungthagathu Reform Initiative Centre (SRIc) offers aspiring researchers a unique opportunity to engage in policy-oriented research and practical learning within a dynamic think tank environment. Designed for emerging professionals passionate about sustainability, governance, and education, the fellowship focuses on advancing the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Fellows will contribute to ongoing research under SRIc’s Edu4SD Project, supporting initiatives such as The Sabai Times and the Sabai Webinar Series, which promote public discourse on sustainability and policy reform. Participants will work alongside SRIc’s researchers to publish analytical articles, develop policy briefs, and support knowledge dissemination efforts that strengthen sustainability governance in Myanmar. Through this experience, fellows will gain practical exposure to research design, evidence-based analysis, and stakeholder engagement. The program emphasizes critical thinking, interdisciplinary learning, and professional mentorship to equip participants with the analytical and communication skills necessary for policy research and advocacy. By the end of the fellowship, participants will have deepened their understanding of sustainability frameworks and built meaningful professional networks across the sustainability and governance sectors. This role serves as both an academic training ground and a platform for impactful contributions to Myanmar’s sustainable development agenda. Ideal candidates are motivated learners who aspire to combine research excellence with practical solutions for social and environmental transformation.
