In alignment with the vision of the Shwetaungthagathu Reform Initiative Centre (SRIc) and the Edu4SD project, the "Social Entrepreneurs for Sustainable Development" course is designed to empower and equip individuals with the skills, knowledge, and networks needed to drive sustainable development through innovative social entrepreneurship.
This course examines the fundamental principles of sustainability and underscores their importance in protecting the well-being of future generations. Students will examine the challenges and opportunities of sustainable living and learn how to apply sustainable practices in the short, medium, and long term to ensure a viable and thriving future for all.
By the end of the course, participants will have strengthened their sustainability literacy, gaining practical strategies to integrate the triple bottom line—people, planet, and profit—into business operations within the context of Myanmar. They will also learn to align with global frameworks, such as the Paris Agreement and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and effectively communicate their sustainability journey to stakeholders.
