SRIc Managing Director Participates in U.S. Embassy Youth Council Orientation and Reception

The U.S. Embassy in Yangon organized an orientation workshop for new members of the U.S. Ambassador’s Youth Council (AYC) at the American Center, Yangon. Following the workshop, Ambassador Scot Marciel hosted a Hail and Farewell Reception at his residence in Yangon to welcome new members appointed for the 2019-2021 term and bid farewell to outgoing ones. 

During the event, discussions focused on future collaboration to support Myanmar’s youth development and policy engagement. 

Mr. Tin Shine Aung, Managing Director of SRIc, participated in the reception and shared his perspectives on the needs and challenges faced by Myanmar youth, emphasizing how the U.S. Embassy can effectively engage and empower young people in Myanmar.
